Every year since 2014, Ames-area churches have joined together for We Heart Ames. Our goal is be the best friend our city has ever had by combining our efforts to love our neighbors in a real and tangible way. We do this through dozens of different events each year. Everything from prayer meetings, to encouraging art in the park, to trash pickup, to handing out water bottles on a hot day. Each year is a little different but every year is focused on God’s people in Ames coming together to show our city what God’s incredible, no-strings-attached love looks like.
